Will elections in Jordan defuse anger of MB protest?
Paving the way for early elections, two Royal Decrees were issued in Jordan last week the first was dissolving Parliament, and the second calling for early elections according to the provisions of the Jordanian elections law. The coming parliamentary elections is expected to be held early next year after the Independent Elections Commission extended the registration period until October 15th. Muslim Brotherhood will boycott the elections stating that the changes to the electoral did not go far enough and that the constituency system favored tribal candidates. Raad Abdul, JN1, Amman
