Wegger Strømmen on the Holocaust and Antisemitism in Norway
The Norwegian ambassador to the United States, Wegger Chr. Strømmen, interviewed by Prof. Walter Reich on the holocaust and antisemitism in Norway. Amb. Strømmen was an important contributor when the Norwegian government decided to pay reparations to the Jewish community for the injustices they underwent in Nazi-occupied Norway during World War Two. Dr. Reich is the Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Professor of International Affairs, Ethics and Human Behavior, and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, at The George Washington University; a Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center; and a former Director of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The interview was filmed in the Norwegian residence in Washington, DC on November 2nd 2012.
