Walter was 13 when he and his Grandmother were relocated from Berlin to the Riga Ghetto in Latvia. His Grandmother was shot within the first week. Alone for the first time in his life, Walter managed to survive from camp to camp until he was liberated by the British Army from the notorious death camp Bergen Belsen in April 1945. He was 17 years old and weighed 88 pounds. Walter's is one of the last of the Holocaust survivor's still able to share his experiences. We are doing this indie gogo project to finish Walter's story about growing up a teenager in the concentration camps of Germany. Please consider checking out our project and helping save an important piece of history.
