Sim Shalom and When You Believe

A Hebrew Prayer for Peace and a song from "Prince of Egypt" recorded by a bunch of Christians in a straw-bale studio in northern Alberta. Posted as a prayer and blessing for all Jewish people on International Holocaust Remembrance Day January 27, 2013. We must remember so it never happens again. Lyrics for "When You Believe" - Many nights we've prayed, with no proof anyone could hear - in our hearts a hopeful song we barely understood. Now we are not afraid, although we know there's much to fear. Adonai (Lord), our strength and song, salvation is in You! There can be miracles when you believe. Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill. Who knows what miracles you will receive when you believe? Somehow you will - you will when you believe. The Lord God sees our tears; He hears the cries of those enslaved. In His love He sets His people free and leads the way. And now I'm standing here with heart so full I can't explain, seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say.
