Seven Randolph-Macon students learned about the Holocaust and Jewish Culture by traveling through Germany and Austria during January term in 2013. Led by German Professor Joseph Moser, students visited historic sites and learned about historic events including the Holocaust, experienced authentic German food and culture, and even practiced speaking in German.
In this video, students describe their excitement as they prepare to depart from Richmond International Airport and embark on an intercontinental flight. After landing in Berlin, Germany where they stayed for seven days, they visited the German Parliament and then had dinner at a local restaurant. The original footage for this video was provided by R-MC students. This is one part of a video series that will launch about this course.
