Italy Paper Reports France Killed Muammar Gaddafi: 'Nicolas Sarkozy Sent Agent to Kill Gaddafi'
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra, Muammar Gaddafi was not killed by Libyan rebels, but by a French secret agent, who acted on direct orders of the former French president Nicolas Sarkozy. When Nicolas Sarkozy was still president, France and Libya had close relations. In 2007 for example, Gaddafi was received in Paris like a king. Yet just four years later, in 2011, Sarkozy took the initiative to form a coalition that would lead to Gaddafi's fall and ultimately to his death. But that does not mean that he ordered the kill. So did the orders to kill Muammar Gaddafi came directly from here, from the Elysée Palace, when Nicolas Sarkozy still used to be a president? Or is it just another conspiracy theory? Well the advantage of conspiracy theories of course, is that those who believe in them think they are really true. Stefan de Vries, JN1, Paris.
