Iran's centrifuge work at Fordo now complete

Iran's centrifuge work at Fordo now complete Iran has confirmed it has finished installing uranium centrifuges at its controversial Fordo nuclear plant. The move theoretically brings the Islamic Republic closer to being able to build a nuclear bomb, though according to reports, the new centrifuges have yet to be activated. Israel has expressed its concern at the progress of the plant, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently using the UN General Assembly meeting in New York to illustrate the imminent threat posed by Iran as it approaches Israel's red line of having nuclear arms. With the facility built inside a mountain, a pre-emptive attack by Israel aimed at stopping Iranian development is not guaranteed to succeed.
