Egypt Protestors Attack US Embassy in Cairo after Film in America Blasphemes Prophet Muhammad
Some 2000 protestors have gathered outside the American embassy in Cairo to demonstrate against a film produced in the United States that insulted the Prophet Mohammad. Around 20 people scaled the walls around the embassy, hauled down the American flag, tore it apart, and burned the pieces. Protesters then raised a flag with the words "There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger". Anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiment is nothing new in Egypt, where Egypt's General Intelligence Service has warned that the group Global Jihad, suspected of killing 16 Egyptian border guards in August, is planning similar attacks against the US and Israel embassies in Cairo.
